Fred Achiego serves as a Fundraising and Partnership Specialist at Shelter of Hope Kenya, a Christian‑based nonprofit organisation dedicated to uplifting vulnerable children, youth, women, and communities through education, child sponsorship, and holistic support programs. Key Responsibilities & Impact

Resource Mobilisation:
Designs and executes fundraising campaigns to attract individual donors, institutional funders, and strategic partners. This includes crafting compelling proposals, donor stewardship plans, and engagement materials that communicate the organisation’s mission and outcomes. -
Partnership Development:
Builds and nurtures relationships with local and international organisations, faith‑based groups, and sponsors whose values align with Shelter of Hope Kenya’s vision. Through these partnerships, Fred helps broaden the organisation’s reach and access to resources. -
Donor Engagement & Communication:
Ensures donors and partners receive regular updates on program progress, financial accountability, and impact stories. By maintaining clear and responsive communication, he supports transparency and fosters long‑term donor trust. -
Strategic Support:
Works closely with program teams to align fundraising goals with organisational priorities, ensuring that resource mobilisation efforts effectively support key initiatives and operational needs.
Fred’s role is integral to enabling Shelter of Hope Kenya’s mission of providing quality education, nourishment, and care to orphans and vulnerable children, transforming lives one child and community at a time.
