Jane Atieno Otieno was born on 7th April 2008 to George Otieno Obiya and Lencer Anyango Otieno. She was born in Rachuonyo District, Homa Bay County. Jane’s parents are both alive but she stays with her old grandmother and schools at Shelter of Hope Academy in grade two (2). She loves outdoor activities. Jane and her grandmother fellowships at Grace Bible Chapel, where she is in Sunday school. Jane loves eggs and kales. She works hard to be a doctor in future.

Morine Atieno Ouma was born on 7th November 2008 to Joseph Ouma Atieno and Mary Aoko Ouma who are casual laborers. She was born and lives in Kagan Ward with both parents. Morine was admitted at Shelter of Hope Academy in 2013 and is currently in grade five (5). She enjoys playing football and netball at school. At home, Morine helps out by cleaning utensils, collecting firewood. She is hard worker and always desires to be position one in her class. Morine aspires to be a doctor in future.

Roseline Rima Adhiambo was born on 24th October 2011 to Moses Okoth and Afline Akinyi Ogoch. She lives in Kanyaruanda village, Kagan ward, Homa Bay County with her mother. Her father is in Nairobi doing menial jobs. Roseline joined Shelter of Hope in January 2018 and is in grade one (1). She is an outgoing pupil who pays attention to her studies. Roseline enjoys going to church and is in Sunday school. She has education needs to achieve her dream of becoming doctor. Her favorite meal is meat and fried eggs.

Irene Achieng Ochanda was born on 5th March 2008 to Absalom Ochanda Ondigo and Caroline Awuor Odero in Kagan Village, Homa Bay County. She joined Shelter of Hope Academy in January 2018. Irene Is currently looking for a sponsor to help fund her education.She is currently in grade three (3).

Evance Okoth Ochanda was born on 29th September 2011 in kagan village, Homa Bay County. His parents are Absalom Ochanda and Caroline Awuor and are peasant farmers. Evance is second born among three siblings. He is in Pre-School level one (1) at Shelter of Hope Academy. His favorite subject is number work. He loves outdoor activities. At home, Evance helps out by giving feeds to chicken. He is quite and friendly boy. His mother says that he wishes to be military soldier when he grows up.

Rose Akinyi Ondiek was born on 27th February 2011 to Salmon Oloo Ondiek and Alice Adhiambo Oloo. Her father is security guard at Shelter of Hope Academy while her mother is a peasant farmer. Rose comes from Kagan ward. She joined Shelter of Hope Academy in January 2018. She is in grade one (1). Rose plays with dolls and enjoys rope skipping too. She helps out by collecting firewood and fetching water. Rose enjoys eating rice and beans as her favorite meals. Being a nurse is her future dream

His father Salmon Oloo Ondiek is security officer at Shelter of Hope while her mother Alice Adhiambo Ondiek is a peasant farmer. Sheryl schools at Shelter of Hope Academy Pre-School level one (1). She is calm boy who loves outdoor activities. Sheryl wants to be police officer when she grows up.
